With the annoucement that Mr. Nelson will no longer be operating this fine facility, and the possibility that it won't open, what impact do you folks feel that will have on those that chase IMCA points? Eunice is a looooonnng way to go, White Sands is somewhat limited ( don't they only sanction SSM IMCA?), Price and Canyon are a loooonnnng way to go, so regional points are going to be quite expensive.
If Aztec runs an aggressive schedule, and Cardinal runs every other week, you think we might see the southern folks here on their off weeks? You guys gonna pull down to Eunice on Aztec's off weeks? Where will you go to pick up points? Is USRA looking better and better? Is someone else going to step in to run Fairgrounds?

Can the (racing) community do something to step up and keep this open? Can there be additional volunteers? What would it take? Is it time? Money? health related?

So if.....and I say IF Aztec goes USRA what will happen to the Hobby class? Will they stay with rules as they are or have to go with USRA?

USRA allows the track to stay with there current rules for 1 season, So if you were legal for 2011 you will be legal for 2012. USRA also pays $500 to the track champion.
