Get rid of them and bring the dwarfs on full time instead of the minis! ! ! ! ! Also in the Main event for the MODIFIEDS i think it was BS that because a driver that couldn't drive out of turn 2 and Zane(#18) bumped him and NEVER brought out the YELLOW got blacked flag to the back of the pack? WTF? is it cause he was coming around to 1st place again and Toby thought "ill show him to "TOUCH" another car? That was Ridiculous and a Bunch Of BS! ! ! ! ! ! Don'T show favoritism out there i seen a hobby stock FLIP a guy off in front of Toby and nothing happened to HIM! ! ! ! ! ! ! Just My .02 cents i guess

The #7 turned his car completely sideways in an attempt to hold the bottm line to block the #18. The #18 was on the breaks hard as 6-8 cars passed them both coming out of two. Both cars continued and then half a lap later the yellow was thrown so that the flagman can send the #!8 driver to the rear? A yellow should not be thrown to penalize a driver. This could affect the race results. What if the leader had built a huge lead? And besides the fact, the #18 did nothing wrong in this instance. The #7 could not hold his line and the #18 was penalized. The crowd was definatly disgruntled by this call. As was many drivers that were watching in the pits. I wasnt gonna say anything but "flying zero", you are not alone. After a good night of racing, this was the buzz in the pits.

I can think of 5 drivers that have wins in the sportmod and mod class that started in minis. As the skills improve on these young drivers the races will get better. According to the judges the 18 was not penalized for contact but was penalized for staying hard in the throttle way too long and trying to power through the other car. I saw Ryan die over that kind of racing. Yes it stinks to lose spots in that situation but you have to check up immediately, clear left or right and then get back to racing. Aztec is my track and the crew is following my direction to get the driving cleaned up, even if we have to pause the race to take care of it.

I talked to a couple mini drivers last night and they are workin thier tails off getting more cars out there! Great job, you know who you are! Once they all get on the same page equality qise, that class will be the biggest. The kids are the most exciting to watch IMO! Ya never know what they will do! hahaha! They are having more fun than anyone out there, just ask em!

I wasnt gonna say anything but "flying zero", you are not alone. After a good night of racing, this was the buzz in the pits. Are you kidding? Why would any racer "turn his car completely sideways to hold the bottom line" to prevent one car from passing him but allowing "6-8 cars pass them both"? Looked like to me Zane was pretty hard on the throttle from the middle of the corner on out leaning on Smith's car. How can you expect the 7 car to be accelerating at all if he is turned sideways preventing the rear tires from getting any traction? If you ask me Zane was having a hard time accepting that he was getting beat and just happened to be close enough at the moment to take one of the cars out in front of him. I think he deserved what he got. I think we'll see him in the middle of this kind of BS a lot in the future, until somebody does something about it. And you're right, "something like this could affect the race results" and did, as I believe Smith was running a STRONG 2nd and looked like he might have had a little bit left for Carley if he hadn't had to take the cheap-shot from DeVillbiss. And one other thing as long as we're talkin about that obnoxious sounding pink thing(An absolute disgrace to the REAL Pink Panther by the way).... Is he so mentally challenged that he can't participate in a decent restart? I mean the guy all but stops coming to the cone to restart the race when he is in the lead, swerving back and forth erratically, both at Cortez and Aztec. I saw him run over the nose of a car behind him during the Wild West show with all that BS. The guys behind him can hardly keep from turning him around going that slow and swerving back and forth. He caused a huge pile-up in his heat in Cortez. And when he is not in the lead, he obviously doesn't know how the double-file restart works, as he tried to restart below Smith's car when the track officials told the field to double up. Smith was in the 2nd position so he had the choice weather to start high or low, and he was obviously lower on the track than Carley, and DeVillbiss still pulled up inside of Smith trying to cheat his way to a better start. There sure is a lot of riff-raff hanging around the track again since the Nelson's passed on the torch to other promoters. The Nelson's ran a tight ship and had most of these numbskulls ran off or banned from the track. There sure was a lot less of this BS going on because of it. One can only hope the current promoter will get fed up with it as well and put an end to it. [ Edited Sun May 10 2009, 09:51PM ] It aint cocky if you back it up!

B/C Zane was getting ready to pass him and he turned his car into Zane. Look at where Zane's front tire rubbed on Porter's car, it was past Porter's door. Zane had the right to protect his line since he was 3/4 of the way past Porter's car. The judges didn't see it this way and penalized Zane for it. Porter got to keep his spot and still could have advanced if his car was really that good. As for the restart business, I agree 100% with you. I could see and hear Jack jump Zane's case for the nonsense restart's up in Cortez. The biggest thing that I can see as a concern for the track is actual fan count in the stands. Without these people there to help support the racer's and the track, it will not grow the sport.
