I tend to agree with your thinking that an outside party might be best as a promoter but that will never happen because there is no profit in local dirt tracks anymore. Even an outside promoter will eventually be accused of playing favorites. The past promoters at Aztec and at every track we have raced at try to do their best and seldom are appreciated. We locals serve our time at the track so our families and friends have a safe place to race and watch. I beg to differ about the quality of racing at Aztec. Our racers and the competition is second to none and the nice facility is just a bonus. Thanks for being a race fan, Mike | ||

It's just as easy to be old and dumb as it is to be young and dumb. You've demonstrated that well. Until you've learned to respect people of all ages equally, you've got a long way to go! I appreciate the fans that come and watch. I do not appreciate people that shoot their mouth off about things they know nothing about. I also do not appreciate those who try to belittle others simply because of their age. It aint cocky if you back it up! | ||

But my main issue with your post was that you came on to the website with no clue what you were talking about with the issue between the American Legion and Mike Hamilton. Also I don't believe there is any reason you should be bashing any previous promoters at all. They have nothing to do with this issue at all. I am not coming on here to promote how well my dad did with the race track that is over and done and the previous promoters are all gone. Its not about that, its about supporting Mike Hamilton because he is the best person to run the track the way it should be run. Fast, fun , and way competitive yet, I believe, very equal for us racers. I appreciate you being a fan but I just don' think its very classy to speak out when you have no facts and also to bash on people who worked very hard to give us a wonderful place to call our home track | ||

The "other thing you have coming" is that you will continually be proved wrong in your ignorance. If you will care to notice, which I'm sure you won't, you are going to continue to be corrected and proved wrong by any person you consider inferior for any reason. Until you consider every person you speek to as your peer, you will constantly be dissappointed with yourself, weather you want to admit it or not. "I've been around longer than you've been behind the wheel" is a defence mechanism coming from somebody who's realized they've been called on their BS and can't admit it. You found the ONE true fact you knew about Julie and tried to use it to belittle her. But what you didn't care to notice is that the fact that she is younger than you is irrelevant.
