Hey Mike, are plastic nose pieces allowed on hobby stock cars? i know there are several cars out there with them, the rules state no aftermarket nose pieces.......! Do ya'll plan on having a meeting in the spring to "discuss" certain topics? Also is this the final schedule for 2010?

Contact Mike Tenske with tech questions, he is the man. There will be a meeting well before the season starts. The schedule is likely to be final as I think we have all the conflicts ironed out. All the classes seem to be on board.

Thanks, Mike

I DO!!!! (But I strap boards on my feet to do it...)
They're still racing in TX, in fact there's a pretty good hobby race at Grand Prairie 11/7. The following weekend is a national for limiteds at Rio Grande. Ask me why I know, go on ask me.....

It also says no variable duration lifters and I know of at least one car that is running them.

huh.........i do have one question......besides the claim rule, what is the difference between our hobby rules, and imca hobby rules? maybe our rules should mimick those. just to have some similarity in the state (maybe get more cars in aztec from other tracks) just an idea?

There ya go, thinkin' again... Just can't leave well enough alone. Always pushing the envelope. Push, push, push. More cars. Don't you realize that will increase competition!?!? Possibly increase the purses? Nose pieces aren't enough contraversy? Sigh...Heavy sigh.....
